Excellent opportunity for a Business Development Manager with experience in corporate recovery.
The successful candidate will have around 5 years relevant experience
The role requires -
·Building relationships with internal partners, developing existing client relationships and cross selling new services via these introductions.
·Take responsibility for generating cold prospective client appointments, and converting them into new business.
·Undertake at least five prospective client appointments per week.
·Create and deliver at least one ITT/RFI/Sales Proposal each month.
·Take ownership for delivery of all sales pitches to prospective clients.
·Create, deliver and own a strategic and tactical sales plan for the delivery of new business across a wide range of business sectors but predominantly financial institutions.
·Whenever agreed with the Legal Recoveries Director, input into the firm, new product strategy and internal process improvement.
·Ensure you keep abreast of the key market and client trends in the debt/litigation market place.
·Set up and run product/prospective client specific seminars.
·Work with Marketing and Operations to define and launch new products.
·Represent the firm at the appropriate product and trade associations.
·Ensure the firm has all the appropriate documents, collateral, pitches , demo etc to both win and take on new clients.
Following initial training, generate targeted profitable new sales revenue of at least £600k (annualised) in first year.
Reporting to: Legal Recoveries Director.
Essential Skills/Knowledge/Experience
·A self-starter with the skills to self generate new business, own the 'sales cycle' and close deals. This is a new business sales role.
·A self starter who understands the sales process and recognises that their primary role is to drive revenue.
·The appropriate person is likely to have been in sales for 5+ years with significant success.
·Have a working knowledge of the debt market and/or legal recovery market.
·Excellent experience regarding commercial and consumer finance issues.
·Outstanding communication skills both written and verbal.
·Resilient, tough and able to accept knock-backs.
·Be an outstanding public speaker.
·Selling and building relationships at a senior level.
Desirable Skills/Knowledge/Experience
·Knowledge of B2B selling is vital.
·Understanding the Decision Making process within large corporate environments.
·Selling to FT 250 companies and financial institutions is vital.
