Our Clients are a large national law firm. They are seeking a number of paralegals to work in their debt recovery department. Working in a team of 6 to 12 people (with varying experience) with team leaders and managers for support and guidance, you will be administering a legal collections process, including correspondence with courts and telephone calls to ensure that a charging order is obtained against the debtors property and client service levels are achieved and working to productivity, financial and turnaround targets.
You will also be negotiating payment in full from debtors to prevent further enforcement action to recover outstanding debt. Client contact may be required in order to resolve complex queries.
Experience of legal collections and the court system is essential
To be successful you will be an effective team player, with excellent verbal and written communication skills. You will be self-motivated and able to work unsupervised to achieve demanding client deadlines.
You will be target and process driven, able to confidently challenge and develop working practises with accuracy and a keen eye for detail.
