Credit Controller Leeds

They currently have an opportunity for a Credit Controller to work in a small team sharing responsibility for liaising with clients regards unpaid bills, utilising various methods of cash collection/ query resolution to minimise debtor days and improve cash collection. The responsibilities of the role are varied but include communicating with clients and third parties by letter and telephone to ensure prompt payment of bills submitted, whilst always maintaining and strengthening existing relationships, liaising with Partners/Associates regarding outstanding debt, providing assistance to them in order to resolve outstanding queries and in turn speed up the payment process, being proactive to identify issues, suggest solutions and assist in implementing change, keeping accurate and up to date records of all debt chasing and using experience and judgement to ensure that items are followed up and escalated at the appropriate points in time.
The successful candidate will have experience of working as a credit controller, excellent organisational skills, strong communication skills and a customer service philosophy, the ability to work well in a team-based organisation and the ability to work effectively and efficiently in a fast paced environment.
