Our client are a large commercial firm with offices national wide. They are currently looking for a business recoveries paralegal to join an expanding team based in the Leeds city centre office. The ideal candidate will have 6-12 months relevant experience.
The main responsibilities for the roles will be:
To deal with the technical aspects of the case, under the supervision of the Team Leader.
To progress cases to an effective and satisfactory conclusion for clients.
To use the Case Management System and use standard documentation wherever appropriate.
To ensure complete client care in all cases.
To issue County Court Proceedings to obtain a monetary judgment, enforcement of monetary judgments, and instigation of insolvency procedures.
Familiar with file opening procedure and opening files in accordance with this.
Ensuring to do lists completed each day and if unable to do ensuring team leader is aware.
Use of case management system to ensure any Court dates, deadlines are recorded accurately and where necessary in the Court diary.
Ensuring file organised in accordance with file management protocol.
Ensuring all telephone conversations, attendance on clients and opponents requiring an attendance note are recorded on file either electronically or manually.
The salary for this role will be circa £18K
