This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of an expanding in-house legal team operating within an organisation well renowned for being a leading supplier to the UK building and construction industry.
They are currently looking to recruit a further 2 Litigation Executives to join their dedicated team and take responsibility for the recovery of outstanding debts.
The post holder will initially be supervised by an experienced Legal Assistant and work as part of a 7 strong team headed by a qualified Litigation Solicitor. Your responsibilities will predominantly revolve around the collecting of various debts currently owed to the Company by customers. This will be achieved through the process of negotiation and agreement or through the Court system.
Candidates will need to demonstrate various skills to include: the ability to work under pressure and meet collection targets, outstanding communication skills, commercial awareness and business aptitude and familiarity with managing a high volume caseload with the aid of a dedicate debt collection software package.
Previous experience in Issuing County Court claims and dealing with all aspects of the claim through to securing judgment, Personal and Corporate Insolvency, issuing Statutory Demands, issuing Bankruptcy Petitions and Winding Up Petitions and enforcement mechanisms and procedures would be a distinct advantage, however there will be a period of training to get you up to speed. Within a short period of time you will progress on to handling a large caseload.
