A Birmingham Legal 500 firm is currently seeking an additional Legal Assistant for their Debt Recovery team. Salary up to £15k.
The Client: Our client is a substantial Legal 500 law firm with offices in Birmingham and London, employing over 280 staff. As one of the most innovative and progressive law firms, they are recognised market leaders in many areas of practice and have a high reputation for providing legal expertise. As a firm they have achieved an excellent reputation alongside places in the 2005 and 2006 Sunday Times Top 100 Companies to work for.
The Role: This role is best suited to Legal Secretaries who want a varied role or potential Legal Executives who have some knowledge of Debt Recovery law. The successful candidate will be undertaking an administrative role, with duties to include: Assisting Fee Earners at all stages of case, liaising with clients, proofing documents, drafting correspondence, filing documents and contacting creditors and debtors for information. It is essential that candidates ensure clients receive a high standard of service at all times. Role not suitable for law graduates.
This role will best suit friendly candidates who are eager to learn and committed to law, salary up to £15k.
