This leading UK Personal Injury and Insurance Law Firm with a fantastic reputation has a vacancy for Solicitor to join their Criminal and Regulatory defence team. You will become part of a small team dealing with all aspects of criminal and regulatory prosecutions arising from personal injury or death on the road, at work or in a public place. You will represent both companies facing investigation or prosecution by regulatory authorities (HSE, Trading Standards, Environmental Health, Environment Agency and Local Authorities) and individuals facing prosecution for driving offences (Dangerous Driving, Death by Dangerous or Careless Driving and Driving without Due Care and Attention). The role will see you initially assisting a Partner with their cases before gradually building up your own caseload. Matters range from minor accidents through to very complex cases involving multiple fatalities. Applicants must rights of audience in the Magistrates' Court, PACE accreditation and motor prosecution experience (largely insurance based). You should be experienced at representing clients at police interviews and attending preliminary hearings at the Magistrates Court. The salary on offer is attractive at up to £35,000 (dependant upon experience) with a full corporate benefits package including up to 25days holiday, pension and healthcare scheme.
