An excellent opportunity for a Fee Earner in Serious Fraud has arisen with a Legal 500 firm in Manchester.

The firm is looking to recruit a Paralegal on a Fixed Term Contract to join the Regulatory and Investigations (RIG) team based in Manchester.
The position involves working with a wide range of clients from the business community and advising them regarding the strict codes and regulations set by numerous regulatory and investigative bodies, such as the H+SE, and including prosecution authorities, like the Serious Fraud Office.
The role will involve dealing with initial enquiries from clients, preparing case documents, note taking in client meetings and providing general support to the team fee-earners in delivering prompt advice on all fraud and regulatory matters.
You will be a team player working alongside team members split across 3 sites in the north. You will possess strong communication skills and have a focused and pragmatic approach. You will have a pro active approach and the ability to work on your own initiative, managing your time to meet deadlines. Client care is paramount and the successful candidate will be able to demonstrate a strong commitment to high client care standards.
You will have a professional telephone manner with attention to detail and a high level of IT skills (including a sound understanding for Microsoft Office and Excel). Experience of working in a similar role would be beneficial. You will have previous experience of dealing with a broad range of both fraud and regulatory matters, both with businesses and individuals.
Experience of using Microsoft office and case manager systems, such as Case Map, is essential.
