A qualified Solicitor who has a solid working background in Criminal law is required to manage this team in Hull. Salary from £40k.

The Client: Our client is one of the best known and longest established law firms in Hull. They are well known in the are for offering a specialised, expert and friendly service to a range of clients on a daily basis.

The Role: Applicants should hold a current Practising Certificate not qualified in any way by the Law Society and have previous experience of managing a Team of Solicitors/Para-legal Clerks in a Criminal Defence Department. The successful candidate will be managing the Criminal Defence department, assisting with the preparation of cases, conducting Advocacy and ensure the department runs smoothly. Candidates should have a full, clean driving licence and access to a motorised vehicle. The postholder will be expected to work unsocial hours, particularly by attendance at Police Stations in conjunction with the rest of the Criminal Department Team.

Ideally candidates will be on the LSC Duty Solicitor Panel.
