This highly regarded private practice with 2 offices across East Anglia is currently undergoing a period of expansion to deal with increasing volume of work.
Now seeking a Duty Criminal Solicitor to be based in their Peterborough office, suitable candidates will have a good range of experience in this area of law and be able to handle a caseload of Magistrates Court and Crown Court matters. Suitable applicants will already be Court Duty solicitors and Police Station accredited and will possess excellent advocacy skills. Knowledge of prison law is also highly desirable. You should expect a varied caseload of matters as you will be covering cases including; Traffic offences, Fraud, Murder, Assault as well as having the chance to deal with white collar crimes.
The Courts and Police Stations covered are situated in Peterborough and Cambridge.
This position would ideally suit candidates with over 2 years PQE, although all applicants will be considered. Salary will be in the range of £30,000 to £40,000 which is dependent upon experience.
