A reputable Chesterfield law firm is currently seeking a Criminal Solicitor, Accredited Police Station Representative/Duty Solicitor with a Criminal background to join a busy but friendly team. Salary up to £25k.
The Client: Our Client has been successfully established for over 130 years and with the late 1980's seeing the firm merge with another big name to secure the reputation of being one of the biggest law firms in Derbyshire and North Nottinghamshire. As a whole they have never lost sight of their roots and still have family run local practices that are founded on quality and providing a highly reliable legal service with a very personal touch.
The Role: The successful candidate will undertake Criminal Defence Work as part of the duty solicitor rota and will be required to attend police stations, take witness statements and advise clients on their legal rights and obligations. Candidates must be prepared to work some unsociable hours as part of the duty solicitor scheme. The ideal candidate will be extremely hard working and be able to work well under pressure and to tight deadlines.
An excellent opportunity for a role that each day will bring a new challenge and a varied caseload. Earning up to £25k with salary to vary depending upon previous experience.
