CRIMINAL PSAR OR DUTY SOLICITOR - LONDON SE
Established South East London law firm actively seeks a Criminal Solicitor who is Police Station Accredited or ideally a Crime Duty
You will be managing your own full caseload, consisting of Crown Court cases and contested Youth Court and Magistrates Court matters
Must be flexible and able to attend police stations as required
Applicants will have experience of all elements of case preparation including;
- Hearsay applications
- Serious Assaults and Sexual Offences
- Bad character applications
- Complex abuse of process arguments and applications under s.76 and s.78 of PACE
- Significant experience of successfully defending applications for ASBOs
- Defending mentally disordered clients and youths
The successful applicant must be able to demonstrate case management experience is across the entire spectrum of criminal law but is generally focused towards
