This top-50 global law firm is seeking an energy lawyer with five or more years' experience to join the London office. The firm has a global reputation for its international energy practice.
The London office serves as a co-ordinating centre for the firm's operations in Europe, the Middle East, Africa and Russia and represents clients operating out of the US, London and elsewhere. The office is strategically important to the firm's overall success and its structured expansion serves the needs of the firm's international client base.
The team advises on every aspect of the energy industry, including areas of law relating to upstream and downstream oil and gas, pipeline transportation agreements, terminal procession agreements, marketing agreements, power purchasing agreements and related concession agreements, energy trading arrangements and other energy-related contracts. Clients include international energy companies as well as government entities.
You should be a lawyer with a strong grounding in energy transactions currently working at a leading UK practice. Naturally, you will have a strong academic background and will be seeking an exciting new challenge, as you will become an integral part of the small but highly rated energy team in London.
Salary £126,000 to £140,000
