THE FIRM An international law firm headquartered in New York, with branch offices in the United States, South America, Europe and the Middle East. The firm has a diversified practice and experience which means that its lawyers are able to offer global representation in the most challenging assignments. THE ROLE Bucking current trends the firm's busy corporate practice currently includes M&As, acquisitions, JVs, infrastructure development and project finance, privatizations, debt and equity offerings, securities, structured and asset-backed lending, corporate restructuring, investment management, private equity and venture capital. ABOUT YOU You will be a City or equivalent trained lawyer with 2pqe or more, and with strong corporate transactional experience with an international focus. The firm is looking for someone who has a flexible and entrepreneurial attitude and who is able and willing to work overseas in the Middle East and FSU at short notice. This role may also lead to overseas postings and the candidate should be open to that. Deals are often in the oil and gas sector, eg joint ventures, major projects, but the work is not finance based.
