The Firm
This is a highly commercial law firm with just over 20 partners. They are based in the city and have a very good reputation for corporate orientated work and as such dont cover an private client areas. Blackfriars or Waterloo are the mainline stations close making it easy to commute. It is then a short walk from Embankment station for the Underground.
The Role
The work ranges from Mergers and Acquisitions as well as Joint Ventures ans Financing to Corporate reorganisations, technology start-ups and the establishment of UK organisations by overseas companies. Work comes from many sources including prestigious household names, individual entrepreneurs, Multi-Nationals Universities and Professional Institutions.
The work is mainly focused on the TMT, life science, real estate funds and charities and institutions sectors.
Experience
The ideal candidate will be a qualified solicitor, with at least 1PQE, although all levels of experience will be considered. The ability to demonstrate a sound knowledge within corporate law is an advantage.
