CORPORATE SOLICITOR
A top tier global practice are looking to recruit up to three corporate finance lawyers who have from 3 years+ post qualification experience to join their London Corporate Group.
Their Corporate lawyers work with clients at the forefront of their strategic development advising on mergers, acquisitions, disposals, flotations, takeovers, buy-ins and buyouts, joint ventures and investments. Their detailed knowledge and close working relationships with other professionals enables them to achieve the right structure for deals and to bring together appropriate funders and entrepreneurial investors.
They specialise in the following areas:
AIM
Corporate Finance
Corporate Governance
Private Equity
M&A
Joint Ventures
They advise listed companies and their institutional advisers on all aspects of their businesses. Their Corporate Finance lawyers have considerable City experience and well-established relationships with City advisers and institutions.
They have extensive experience of advising on public takeovers, both recommended and contested; flotations/initial public offerings; secondary issues including rights issues, placings and open offers; private placements; corporate governance; compliance with companies, securities and financial services legislation including the Listing Rules of the UK Listing Authority and the City Code on Takeovers and Mergers.
Candidate Brief
The successful candidates will ideally have gained experience in a City firm or large regional practice. Candidates must be technically excellent but equally important, commercially aware and enthusiastic about business development. They will be team players with a strong client focused approach. They will also have a strong academic background and excellent communication and organisational skills.
