Our client is one of the most prominent Legal Practices in Southampton and they currently have an exciting opportunity for a Solicitor to join their Commercial Team based in Southampton.
The Corporate Commercial team of this bright, progressive, full service and regional law firm is looking to appoint a specialist Solicitor.
The Corporate practice is long established and enjoys an extremely high reputation for its expert advice and attention to detail when dealing with a wide range of corporate transactions. Our client is regularly rated as a leading Corporate and Commercial Team in Hampshire by leading publications.
This role will involve working closely with the Partner as an integral part of this small and successful team. You will undertake a varied workload on behalf of a wide variety of clients.
You will have the opportunity to be fully involved in both developing the business and growing the team, for example through involvement with presenting and pitching to clients. On a daily basis the successful candidate will work on a wide range of transactions in a team environment, supporting a number of more senior lawyers in the team and contributing the team's financial target.
Due to an increasing client base our client's team is undergoing major investment and the individual who fills this role should be a person who is versatile, hardworking and enjoys delivering accurate advice in the shortest time possible. In addition, the individual should have the drive to succeed as part of a team and be committed to developing relationships with both existing and new clients.
Our client is looking for candidates who possess strong technical skills and excellent academics. Attention to detail and a willingness to market and provide a real contribution to the ongoing success of this exciting and well established team are essential.
