TAX PARTNER - CITY OF LONDON
Our client is looking to recruit a partner designate to join our London team. The ideal candidate will have experience of all areas of mainstream corporate tax including domestic and international M&A, restructurings and demergers and private equity. Experience of some or all of real estate tax, structured and asset finance, funds, outsourcing, projects and tax litigation would be an advantage. The successful candidate will ideally have gained experience in a City firm or large regional practice.
Candidates must be technically excellent, client focussed and have strong communication and organisational skills. They will be a team player who is happy to work with lawyers throughout our national practice and in particular to provide support to our junior lawyers both in London and nationwide.
A key part of the role will be business development, helping to grow the London tax practice as part of the national team. The candidate needs to demonstrate enthusiasm for such a role and the ability to develop both existing and new client relationships and new areas of practice. Although no following is expected they would expect the candidate to be able to demonstrate that they have developed a number of strong client relationships and business contacts.
