London/ Corporate Commercial Solicitor/ 3yrs+ Our client provides a balanced portfolio of commercial, agricultural and private client services in well-defined markets by specialist lawyers. With offices throughout the South and nearly 400 staff at present the London office has a vacancy within its Corporate Team. The opportunity is for an ambitious Company Commercial solicitor to join the expanding Company Commercial group which currently comprising of 38 fee earners. The team undertakes a balanced mixture of M&A, corporate finance and commercial work for the firm's corporate clients, which ranges from owner-managed companies to large corporate. It is supported, where required from other specialist teams within the firms (such as employment, IP, commercial property and litigation). The successful candidate is likely to have at least 3 years recent experience from a city or large regional law firm with an excellent academic background and will be required to have: 1)Experience in a broad range of corporate work, which may include mergers, acquisitions and disposals, private equity, corporate finance and joint ventures. 2)Drafting and advising on commercial agreements. 3)Client management skills, a commercial, big picture approach to problem solving and business development. 4)Excellent communication skills, a team player who is enthusiastic about marketing the team and getting to know clients and referrers.
