Are you an experienced legal secretary looking for a challenge?
Our client is one of the leading Top 10 Corporate law firms based in the CITY. They employ over 2800 people and have offices in all the major UK commercial centres. They are a very forward thinking and modern law firm and offer excellent working conditions as well as bright, spacious offices.
They are currently looking for a highly organized and efficient secretary to join their Restructuring team within their prestigious City office near Liverpool Street.
The role involves providing full secretarial and administrative support to 1 Partner, 1 Associate and 2 Solicitors. It is a permanent position requiring 35 hours a week. It will be a highly demanding and varied role, suiting an individual who can work well unsupervised, is flexible, pro-active and has excellent typing and documentation skills.
Duties include
·Approximately 40% typing of documents and general correspondence
·Arranging meeting and travel arrangements
·Liaising with fee-earners to co-ordinate diaries and appointments
·Managing telephone calls, post and faxes
·Maintaining the document storage and retrieval system
·Co-ordinating billing
·Additional secretarial duties which are required from time to time to ensure the smooth running of the department.
Skills and Attributes -
·Excellent organisational and interpersonal skills
·A mature and positive attitude to work
·Proven initiative
·Confident and trustworthy
·Ability to stay calm and composed in often demanding situations
·Audio typing speeds of 60wpm
·Advanced knowledge of MS Office
