Exciting opportunity for a qualified solicitor or barrister with at least 3 years PQE. Our client is an independent public body, which conducts in-depth inquiries into mergers, markets and the regulation of the major regulated industries.
The role of legal adviser is to provide legal advice on competition and administrative law issues, including advice on remedies to inquiry groups in relation to investigations into mergers, markets and regulation of major regulated industries.
A litigator with experience of judicial review or experience of assessing evidence and, advising on procedures and experience in public administrative law would be an ideal for this role. An understanding of UK legislative process and UK sectoral regulations is desirable.
The role requires someone who has 3 years post qualification experience, as you will be working with a high level of autonomy and to strict time pressures where you will need to prioritise conflicting objectives.
