CORPORATE TAX / SHARE SCHEMES SOLICITOR - CAMBRIDGE
Due to a rapid increase in instructions, our client seeks a share schemes/corporate tax lawyer to assist a partner to develop the share schemes practice.
The current team has a varied and high quality workload, including corporate tax planning, property tax planning, transaction support for corporate and property departments, employee share schemes and charity law.
The firm's share schemes work involves establishing EMI, establishing employee benefit trusts; and advising on share scheme aspects of corporate transactions.
The successful candidate will probably spend at least 50 per cent of their time on share schemes work; the rest of the workload will be general tax matters. The precise mix of work may vary depending on the skills of the successful candidate.
Applicants will have excellent drafting and negotiating skills, together with good interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships with clients and potential clients.
The ideal candidate would be a corporate tax lawyer with share schemes knowledge, or a share schemes lawyer with a blend of tax, company law and business development skills.
