Leading South Coast firm seeks a litigator to join a their large team that includes 3 Partners and 6 assistants. The overall team works for banks, mid tier businesses (whether quoted or owner-managed), household name PLCs and other major international groups and wealthy individuals. You will have lots of client contact - both with the mix of cases but also with client development. The team is growing, making the most of tough economic climate, their strong client relationships across the firm and the increase in litigation. The Head of Litigation is a well-known personality who has a clear vision for his department. Due the team structure it has been highlighted that there is clear room for career progression for an ambitious litigator. Variety is the name of the game here and you will be working with a range of clients advising on lots of different issues. These could include: - Disputes regarding business lease renewals - Dilapidation and service charge disputes - Enforcement of covenants and forfeiture - Easements (rights of way) - Claims in the County and High Court - Applications before the Leasehold Valuation Tribunal - Mediation, Arbitration and Adjudication - Construction related disputes Good solid firm with positive environment to take your career to the next stage.
