Construction Solicitor Non-Contentious Leeds
This is a great opportunity to join my client's team who provide strategic and practical advise to contractors, sub-contractors, developers, property owners, consultants and insurers of construction, engineering and professional risks.
The role will largely encompass negotiating standard form and bespoke construction contracts, providing support on the construction aspects of PFI projects and drafting bespoke framework agreements for facilities management and civil engineering projects.
There will be opportunities to become involved in the team's business development program and to hone your skills in networking and marketing which will be so important as your career develops.
A good understanding of contract law as well as a familiarity with JCT forms are essential. It would also be desirable for you to have a current, practical knowledge of adjudication procedures. You will need to have worked within a role in non-contentious construction work either in private practice or in-house with a construction company.
This may in fact be an ideal move for a candidate looking to move from an in-house position to private practice.
