This excellent non-contentious construction role is to work alongside a very well known Partner within a Legal 500 practice.
In addition to handling your own caseload important areas of the role will be to be actively involved in both business development and coaching more junior fee earners.
Construction is a growing team and the position offers excellent career opportunities. Their existing property developer client base is supplemented by major contractors and consultancies. They also act for both public and private sector organisations on a national scale including central government agencies, local authorities, housing associations and investment portfolios.
Non-contentious work often involves working closely with our prestigious real estate teams, advising on and drafting building contracts, development agreements, professional retainers, warranties and bonds.
Although the main requirement is for non-contentious experience some knowledge of and experience of contentious work would be helpful although not essential. Contentious work includes adjudication, arbitration and TCC cases as well as the provision of specialist commercial advice.
