Construction Solicitor - Southampton - Contentious and Non-Contentious
Our client, based at a prime location in Southampton, is proud to maintain its Lexcel and Investors in People accreditations. They are also committed to supporting the development of staff at all levels.
Our client has an exciting opportunity for a Solicitor to join their Construction team based in Southampton.
A suitable candidate will have at least five years recent relevant experience in all areas of construction, to include but not necessarily limited to: residential and commercial development, civil engineering projects and contracts.
Ideally you will be an expert in both contentious and non-contentious Construction law, but our client will consider candidates with only non-contentious construction law experience.
Our client is looking for a candidate who has a sound knowledge and understanding of all aspects of construction procurement strategy, contract types, ancillary documentation requirements and appointments of professionals.
Candidates offering experience in contentious contract matters should be familiar with all forums for resolving construction disputes, particularly adjudication and T & C Courts.
Experience of own advocacy and adjudications will be a considerable advantage.
