Construction Solicitor - 2 years PQE - Nottingham
The Construction team is renowned for the provision of strategic and practical advice to a range of clients including contractors, sub-contractors, developers, property owners and consultants as well as insurance teams responsible for construction, engineering and professional risks.
Your remit will revolve around supplying contentious and non-contentious construction support and assisting with the continued growth of the commercial construction practice. Duties within this broad umbrella will include but by no means be limited to negotiating standard form and bespoke construction contract, providing support on the construction aspects of PFI projects and drafting bespoke framework agreements for facilities management and civil engineering projects.
The Construction practice currently has an extensive business development programme offering potential candidates the chance to also become involved with the teams marketing and networking activities.
Applicants will be qualified solicitors with comprehensive experience in the field, additionally possessing a solid understanding of contract law and a familiarity with JCT forms. A practical knowledge of adjudication procedures is by no means essential but certainly highly desirable.
