Currently needed is an experienced Solicitor to join a busy Property team and specialise in Construction law. Ideally located in central Derby. Competitive Salary
The Client: Our client is a reputable law firm in Derby and has just recently been officially recognised by the Law Society as the most diverse law firm in the whole of the UK in terms of their recruitment. They have also been shortlisted in The Lawyer magazine's Regional Law Firm of the Year Award, this is alongside one of their staff members appearing in the Lawyer's "Hot 100".
The Role: Our Client are seeking to appoint an experienced solicitor to join their property team (which is one of the largest in the region) to specialise in construction law. As a firm they act for a wide variety of clients including national developers, contractors and funding institutions and we are currently handling a number of significant development projects up to values of £130,000,000.00.The successful candidate should have Experience of dealing with a full range of non contentious construction matters including Appointments, Warranties and Construction Contracts, A strong academic and technical background and Client development skills together with the ability to proactively manage matters and to work as part of a team are essential skills required for this role.
