This top 20 law firm's construction practice is both Chambers and L500 rated and act for numerous blue chip clients. What more could you ask for at the start of your legal career?
You will be joining a national law firm and the construction practice operates very much on the basis of a national team. The construction team comprises of more than 120 lawyers and is divided into client and sector teams across all the offices Although this position is based in Bristol you may be working with other fee earners from any of the firm's other offices. Not only does this expose you to a wide range of work and clients but it also means you will benefit from working with different colleagues.
You will be dealing with non-contentious construction work including acting for local contractors and employers to dealing with national household names. It is essential that you have done a construction seat with one of the larger regional, national or international practices and that you have excellent academics. You will receive plenty of formal training and also more informal one-on-one support. You will be required to travel to the firm's other offices and to meet clients.
The firm are forward thinking and you will benefit from working for a large national practice, yet the Bristol office of the firm is still relatively small and so you won't get the "lost in a crowd" feeling that it's possible to get at many of the large law firms.
