This really is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced assistant to take a step up perhaps to associate or junior partner level and make a name for themselves in the Bristol market. Our client is seeking a solicitor with solid contentious construction experience to develop this side of the practice in their Bristol office. The firm have plenty of contacts and there is no question that there is enough work so a following is not necessary. You should enjoy business development as this will be a key aspect of your role to establish new relationships and develop existing clients. The firm handle plenty of contentious construction work from their London office and also have a partner based in Bristol who undertakes some work of this nature. You will need to have good academics and have previously worked for a regional, national or international practice. Some non-contentious construction experience would be useful but the work will essential be contentious. The offices are centrally based and open plan. The firm offer competitive salaries and benefits. An opportunity for an ambitious lawyer to make a name for themselves.
