Audit Manager, North Yorkshire
An Audit Manager is required for a fantastic new opportunity at a well known law firm within the North Yorkshire area. Salary circa £40k.
A forward thinking and vibrant firm, my client offers a range of legal services to clients across the country. Due to their current plans for growth and development, this is an exciting time to be joiing this North Yorkshire firm.
Upon joining the firm, the audit manager will be responsible for both the internal and external audit plans, dealing with quality and management controls as well as the workstreams emanating from an external plan. You will be required to represent corporate services at various meetings, alongside holding post audit meeting of your own. Also, you will be required to co-ordinate the firm's internal audit framework whilst administrating all external audits taking charge of all reports and administrative tasks involved. It will also be your responsibility to review the firm's audit framework on a regular basis with a view to improvement.
Previous experience of the management and administration of an audit function is required including planning, executing and delivery, with the majority of your Audit experience will have been obtained in a regulatory background.
The successful candidate will possess excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to lead post audit meetings and build rapport with colleagues at all levels. You will be a strong influencer, whilst demonstrating confidence in your ability to operate in a cross functional Compliance environment.
