Our clients are an international law firm with over 280 partners and a total of 1000 lawyers world-wide, providing a full range of corporate and commercial services.
The firm ranks amongst the top 100 global law firms.
They are currently looking to recruit a lawyer specialising in competition and public procurement to join the EU & Competition Group in the Birmingham office.
The ideal candidate a candidate must have 3 years PQE.
The ideal candidate will be highly experienced and dedicated to working exclusively on EU/competition law matters and aim to provide innovative, business-orientated solutions to clients, while operating within the ever-increasingly complex confines of UK and EU Competition law and regulation.
The lead individuals in the EU and Competition Group are independently recognised nationally for their expertise and quality of service.
The candidate will ideally have gained experience in a City firm or large regional practice.
Candidates must be technically excellent but equally important, commercially aware and enthusiastic about business development. They will be a team player with a strong client focussed approach. They will also have a strong academic background and excellent communication and organisational skills.
They should be willing to handle a mix of competition, procurement and State aid work, and preferably will have some prior experience in all three of these areas.
