Job Description
Commercial Partner, Hampshire - This exciting and challenging role encompasses all aspects of commercial contract work including drafting and advising on terms and conditions, agency, distribution, franchising and goods/services supply contracts, leasing and concession arrangements, outsourcing projects, infrastructure projects, public private partnerships, advice on regulated contracts (e.g. in the financial services sector), commercial joint ventures, IT and technology contracts and licenses and eCommerce. Whilst the successful candidate is not expected to major in all these areas, you should be able to supervise lawyers in all these areas.
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and supervising the current team, managing existing client relationships, and developing the number and quality of clients serviced. You should have experience gained at a major national or London firm; significant experience of the full range of commercial contracts/projects and related contract law; direct experience of heavy weight contract negotiations experience of assisting on corporate transactions (in relation to commercial elements); experience of leading and managing teams on exercises ranging from major projects to large scale commercial due diligence. A client following is not required, although would be a distinct advantage.
