Job Description

An experienced Real Estate Litigation lawyer with at least 1year+ PQE is currently being sought at the Birmingham office of this highly respected and impressive practice. The candidate will carry out a full range of commercial real estate litigation work, but with a bias towards commercial landlord and tenant issues, and with a particular emphasis on the retail and leisure sector.  You will work alongside the Birmingham office Real Estate team, and the existing members of the Real Estate Litigation team, to further develop and expand the real estate offering in that location.  Post-qualification experience within a real estate litigation department is essential and business development experience would be an advantage.

To succeed in this role you will have experience in the core areas of landlord and tenant issues including business lease renewals, break notices, claims relating to landlord's consent, dilapidations claims, forfeiture, possession claims, service charge issues, and tenant default and insolvency.  This is an opportunity to join one of the profession's biggest and most successful real estate litigation teams.  It is also an excellent opportunity to work with a varied and impressive client base, including well known national retailers and other end users of commercial property, commercial and residential developers, and investment landlords.
