Job Description
We are looking for a Solicitor/Associate to supplement our Clients planning team in Cardiff.
Key responsibilities:
This role will focus on the provision of legal advice on town and country planning issues. Compulsory purchase experience would be desirable but is not essential.
The types of work will include advising on major infrastructure projects, planning/highways agreements, compulsory purchase, compensation, highway law advice, planning enforcement, listed buildings, urban regeneration projects and advocacy at public inquiries.
As well as stand-alone work you will provide support to the active and thriving Real Estate team in Cardiff and to the wider national planning team.
Skills and experience::
Typically, you will have at least three years post-qualification experience in planning to enable you to have gained the required breadth and depth of experience for this role. However, we are happy to hear from anyone who can demonstrate the skills and knowledge we are looking for.
You will require strong academic ability, excellent communication skills, the ability to problem solve and work under pressure.
