Job Description

Legal Executive or Licensed Conveyancer Commercial Property - Exeter

In response to an extensive existing client base, our client has identified a need for a Legal Executive to join their Commercial Property team to enable them to meet the demand from our existing clients and develop our client base further.

The Role

The successful candidate for this vacancy will be expected to provide the following duties:

Working closely with the Head of the Department and the secured lending team to develop the clients within this sector including developing streamlined practices.

Managing your own files, learning how the case plan system operates and following the process.

Attending and if necessary, attending on your own meetings with clients as well as providing weekly file updates and specific updates on fast moving files as and when required.

Maintaining organised and up to date files.

Delivering excellent client service in maintaining day-to-day contact with clients.

Maintaining an electronic filing system for all of the files you manage.

This role will not involve regular travel but a willingness to travel when needed would be an advantage. This is a unique opportunity for a Legal Executive or Licensed Conveyancer to join the busy, friendly Commercial Property team. The ability to pro-actively build and sustain strong relationships with clients and colleagues is paramount.

The successful candidate for this role will have excellent knowledge and practical experience of a wide range of commercial property work including property due diligence, experience of leasehold transactions, assistance on acquisition and disposals. Previous conveyancing experience is essential. You will be a strong team player, capable of engaging colleagues and be able to cope with the pressures associated with handling multiple caseloads.
