The Real Estate team of 28 partners and over 40 lawyers takes pride in being able to respond quickly and efficiently to clients, offering practical commercial solutions to complex legal issues. You will have exposure to a wide range of high quality work and a degree of autonomy and support that is hard to match. The Oxford Real Estate team consists of 5 partners and 9 lawyers.
You will be a key member of the residential development team based in Oxford team, working under the general direction of the team leader to manage existing key clients and grow the firms housebuilder offering generally. Strong legal knowledge and track record of land acquisition and disposal, development agreements, infrastructure and planning agreements, site set up and joint venture and collaboration agreements is essential together with an understanding of the commercial aspects of property transactions.
Qualifications required:
Confident, personable and able to deal effectively with demanding clients;
Good business development skills and regional contacts;
Experience in acting for house builders;
Exemplary client relationship management skills;
A team player - willing to support others and be flexible;
Strong academics;
Motivated and ambitious;
IT literate;
Likely to be 3-6 years PQE but expertise, attitude and track record are more important.
