This is a brand new role in a circa Top 30 UK firm based in the City. They are now looking for a 1+ pqe Property Litigator to join their team which advises on all aspects of commercial landlord and tenant arising from large-scale portfolio management, on property disputes such as option disputes, enforcement of development agreements, easements, general conveyancing/title problems and planning litigation.
It would be a fantastic opportunity for someone either from a recognised City or large national or regional team who is seeking quality work, talented and highly professional colleagues and above all, a really nice place to work! Clients will include Bovis Homes, Eurostar and Marks & Spencer. You will need to demonstrate a proven track record and grounding in Real Estate disputes and a strong commercial focus. It is essential that you are a team player and are keen to play an active role in developing client relationships.
The team is made up of nine individuals and this is split across two offices with the real estate litigation practice split into approximately 50% commercial landlord and tenant and 50% real estate development and planning related disputes.
The firm is not at all like most other City outfits, there is no stuffiness here and people are open, friendly and relaxed. They enjoy what they do because they are passionate about it and the firm does not put pressure on their people which creates a different environment and one that is unique.
