Fantastic opportunity to join one of the nicest firms to work for! If you have a good academic record and have undertaken a strong training in Commercial Property with sound transactional experience and possess a strong interest in or ideally some exposure to Social/Affordable Housing, then make this firm your next stop!
The role is varied and challenging, you will work with great clients who are friendly and down to earth. Your responsibilities will include working under supervision on the acquisistion of development sites for the provision of housing, you will negotiate adoption and utility agreements as well as simple s106 agreements. Assisting with the conveyancing elements of the acquisition and disposal of development sites and housing assets by RSLs, reviewing tenancy agreements and dealing with any non-contentious housing management issues will also form part of your role.
You will learn and develop so much in this role, the firm prides themselves on the highest quality of training and development. You will grow and hone your knowldge of the statutory framework governing RSL's, Housing Corporation regulation and funding arrangements for RSl's - after all you will be learning from the best! They are leaders in the field.
It is important that you are a team player and possess excellent communication skills, you'll be talking to non-lawyers for much of your day and the ability to be empathetic and put yourself in "their shoes" is vital.
This is a gem of a role for a budding lawyer looking to kick start their career in this growing practice area. The firm does not have onerous targets and everyone has fun along the way. You won't want to miss out!
