Our client have a national property team of 160 lawyers, with over a third of them based in Birmingham. They work with a wide cross section of clients from private sector developers through to large public sector bodies, and as a result are enjoying high levels of work. They strive to offer the best service available to their clients and understand that supporting their fee-earners is key to that success. As such they are offering an experienced property lawyer the opportunity to move out of a fee-earning role into a key mentoring and support position.
The role will seek to refine the technical capabilities and skills of property fee-earners at all levels through keeping them informed of changes in the market and property law. The ideal candidate will also work closely with the partners to promote a positive, open door policy to know-how. It is also important that the candidate play an active part in supporting the development of key client relationships through providing relevant knowledge and information to do so.
The position reports to a senior property professional support lawyer but forms part of a wider network of professional support lawyers across a number of disciplines within the Birmingham office.
The ideal individual will be approachable and self motivated. They will have an excellent technical knowledge of their discipline, which will be backed by project management skills. It is expected that they will also have a demonstrable track record in generating business and building long term relationships with clients.
