Make 2012 your year of change...
Maximise on your technical expertise, client management skills and ability to draw in business. Don't let others take advantage of your commercial acumen and hard work, reaping the financial rewards of what truly should fall into your lap.
This year is all about responding to a challenging economic climate. There's no doubt it will be the survival of the fittest. I'm working with a vibrant practice in the North London area who is emerging as a very commercial and successful operation and they have high hopes for their business.
They are keen to expand in all of their core business areas and are busily recruiting experienced solicitors to join their practice on a consultancy / fee share arrangement. One of their top priorities is in the Property Department which deals Commercial and Residential Conveyancing, Landlord & Tenant, Lease Extensions and Remortgage matters.
We are interested to hear from UK qualified Property Solicitors with their own client following (no matter how modest) who are open to the idea of working on a fee share consultancy basis. The firm, which has membership of a number of panels and recognised professional bodies, is consistently focused on attracting recommendations and repeat business. They are keen to hear from individuals, teams or small firms who might be considering a merger of talents, who feel they could add value to the property team.
Depending on what you can bring to the business, you can certainly expect a realistic and attractive fee share arrangement in your favour. There will be the admin, IT and marketing support where you need it to help you build on your existing client base but we are looking for highly focused lawyers who also find networking and business development second nature. You can choose to work in their offices, or combine with home working, offering you greater flexibility and an improved work / life balance. Most importantly, you will undoubtedly receive a higher percentage of your billings than you would normally achieve in a permanent employed role. Of course, this comes only if you give it your 100% focus.
If you are unsure of what being a self employed Consultant is all about, don't hesitate to contact me in confidence - I'd be happy to tell you more about it without any committment on your part.
