My client is one of the leading full-service practices in the Oxfordshire region. With a strong emphasis on a good work/life balance, they are renowned for being a family-friendly employer, and full acknowledge that their most valuable assets are their people. Due to their continued growth, they now have a vacancy for a Commercial Property Solicitor to join their existing team which currently consists of a Partner, associate, paralegal and additional support staff.
Working alongside the existing associate and reporting directly to the managing partner, this new role offers the right candidate an exciting opportunity. The main responsibilities will include: Managing all client work as allocated by the Head of the Department in accordance with detailed procedures and quality standards; Exercising a consistently high standard of client care in a professional manner; Achieving agreed levels of billing and time recording; Liaising closely with the Credit Controller; To take responsibility for and attend to self-development; To take an active role in Business Development, and contribute to the continued growth of the department. The types of clients include High St premises (min-marts, shops, pubs etc...) in addition to key clients including a property developer.
An excellent benefits package including a salary of between £35,000-£45,000 + 25 days holiday, pension and life cover await the successful candidate. This is the ideal role for somebody looking to progress their career to the next level. There is significant room for career development, as the current associate is expected to retire in the near future and it is envisaged that the successful candidate will have the potential to succeed them.
