The Firm
A firm that specialise purely in commercially orientated areas and have little private client work. Easily accessible from the train station which means it is commutable form all of the home counties as well as London.
The Role
You will join one of their very well regarded teams in which they conduct a lot of property work.
Clients include blue chip pub companies, brewers hotels and restaurant groups based in the UK. They act for a number of key players in the Hospitality and Leisure Sector including FTSE 100 companies and other PLCs.
The work ranges from acquisitions and developments on the non-contentious side, which is what the most part of your work will include. They also do work on the contentious side High court challenges on competition law and work on joint ventures.
Even coming in at an NQ level gives you good client contact. You are responsible for managing your own caseload as well as assisting partners on larger scale work.
Experience
The ideal candidate will be a solicitor, ideally at an NQ level, although all levels of experience will be considered. You may currently be working in the area or looking to move where you can sustain good quality work but gain work/life balance as well.
