BCL Legal the leading legal recruiter in Yorkshire has the following vacancy:
York based Legal 500 listed and Chambers Rated firm seeking a NQ - 2 year PQE Solicitor to join their successful Property Litigation Team
This firm is looking for a Solicitor that they can train and retain long term in their Property Litigation department. The department focuses on the following areas:
Boundary disputes
Breach of statutory duty
Disrepair claims
Distress for rent
Dilapidation claims
Evictions
Inheritance claims
Interpleader claims
Landlord and tenant litigation
Negligence claims
Nuisance claims
Rent arrears
Repossession claims
Trespass to land
The ideal candidate doesn't need to have a great deal of relevant experience but must be very good academically and have a genuine interest in developing or progressing a specialism in Property Litigation. You should therefore have good A-level results and a minimum of a 2.1 in the LLB and a Commendation in the LPC. A background in litigation or property would be advantageous as would any agricultural knowledge.
