COMMERCIAL PROPERTY ASSISTANT SOLICITOR - DORSET
14 partner 7 office firm are looking for a Commercial Property Solicitor to join their team.
Successful candidates should have:
Direct experience of dealing with clients and developing a practice.
Good property skills both of a transactional and planning nature.
Experience dealing with all aspects of commercial property work to include
landlord and tenant work (drafting and negotiating leases of all types & dealing with leasehold management issues
Experience of lease renewals to include drafting and negotiating as part of a lease renewal process)
Freehold work (registered and un-registered acquisitions and disposals to include accumulation of piecemeal and brown field sites for development purposes including the use of options and conditional contracts, high value residential freehold and leasehold transactions)
Drafting and negotiating rights of way and easements
Development work acting for purchaser, seller and institutional lenders in development transactions
Corporate support work property aspects of corporate transactions.
Opportunities
The position offered is that of Assistant Solicitor/Associate level (depending on experience). The firm has a number of Associates who are considered lawyers and in whose hands clients can place their affairs without supervision (associates are not expected to advise on all matters outside of their own speciality area but to identify and handle all requirements through liaising with other colleagues etc.). The firm has no rigid policy on partnership but hope to address individual partnership aspirations wherever reasonable and appropriate.

Life insurance Immediate/four times basic salary
Holiday - Initially 22 days holiday rising to 25 days after 5 years plus all Bank/Public holidays and the possibility of 2 additional discretionary days during the Christmas period.
Sick pay 1 week full sick pay for each complete year of accrued continuous employment up to a maximum of 8 weeks.
Notice Period during initial 3 months 1 months notice thereafter 3 months notice from employer.
