PLANNING SOLICITOR - CENTRAL LONDON
Major UK law firm renowned for the positive and practical way they work, their no-nonsense approach and wide-ranging expertise are looking for a Planning Associate 3 + PQE to join their Planning Department, which is part of the Real Estate Group and is a highly respected and thriving practice area.
The Planning team advises a range of private and public sector clients on a variety of planning issues. In particular, they advise developers on the planning and compulsory purchase aspects of mixed use schemes and large projects in London and elsewhere. They also advise numerous regeneration and development companies on applications, appeals and public inquiries.
Clients include developers, funds and banks, local authorities, public corporations, retailers and warehouse club operators, leisure operators, mineral, energy and waste treatment companies.
The Person
The firm wish to recruit a high quality, planning associate to work within the team on a wide range of planning issues.
You will have experience of working in the planning field within a respected firm and planning practice
You will be skilled in the preparation and negotiation of Section 106 and 278 Agreements.
The ideal candidate will also have experience of undertaking environmental assessment work.
You will be a creative thinker, possess strong client facing skills and be able to work autonomously and as part of a team as required.
