Senior lawyer for this International Asset Management Company based in Frankfurt. Managing Director - European Legal and Closing Group.

Primary Responsibilities

Hudson Advisors Germany GmbH seeks to hire a Senior Legal Counsel who will report to the President of Hudson Advisors Germany. The Managing Director - European Legal and Closing Group will have primary responsibility for the management and resolution of all legal issues relating to the operations and transactions of Hudson Advisors Germany GmbH, including:

• Coordinating with Hudson Advisors international legal and closing teams to assist the Lone Star Funds in structuring, negotiating and closing investments in Europe.
• Managing the existing in house legal and closing function.
• Supervising all litigation and enforcement activities.
• Managing third party relationships within the legal community.

The successful candidate will deal with a wide variety of legal work relating to the day to day running of the business, including management of the existing legal team and responsibility for the legal operations of Hudson's German and Pan - European businesses. We are seeking a candidate with 10+ years legal experience (large law firm and/ or in-house experience at a similar level) with particular emphasis on acquisitions, financings, general corporate and real estate.

You will deal with a wide variety of legal work relating to the day to day running of the business, including management of the existing legal team and responsibility for the legal operations of Hudson's German and Pan - European businesses.

The candidate should have management experience in a fast moving multi tasking role. Ideally you should also be fluent in a second European language. Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to assimilate within a European environment will be key. The post will involve some travel.

This is an excellent senior role within a dynamic and commercial organisation. The salary and compensation package will reflect the seniority of the role and be based upon the candidate's background and experience.

The post of Managing Director - European Legal and Closing Group is a new role that has been created in anticipation of the ongoing expansion of Hudson Advisors within Europe.
