Job Description

Clients are commercial business, not-for-profit organisations, government agencies and private individuals.
The residential property team in Oxford forms part of the firm`s Private Law offering which prides itself in being able to respond quickly and efficiently to clients, offering practical solutions to problems as and when they arise. The successful candidate will be a key member the residential property team working under the direction of the team leader. The work is essentially acting for demanding individuals buying, selling and dealing with all property matters relating to residential property to a substantial value.
You will have a proven track record in the residential property field both as a legal professional and in the marketplace. You will be technically competent, capable of working autonomously under pressure within a supportive team setting. You will be expected to develop the residential property practice both by the quality of service delivered and by forming professional relationships with key introducers.

Qualifications required:

Confident, enthusiastic and personable, able to deal effectively with demanding clients;
Good business development skills and local contacts;
Substantial experience in acting for individuals buying, selling and dealing with all property matters relating to residential property;
Exemplary client relationship management skills and commitment to service excellence;
A team player - willing to support others and be flexible;
Strong academics and technical ability;
Intimately familiar with the CML Handbook, the ML Regs and OFR;
Motivated and ambitious;
IT literate;
Likely to be 3-6 years PQE but expertise, attitude and track record are more important.
