This dedicated Construction team is a progressive and distinctive market leading department of specialists working in key sectors. They're searching for a Construction Solicitor with c. 2-6 years' PQE who ideally has experience of construction and procurement, ideally for public sector organisations.
The work involves both supporting senior lawyers in complex projects and supervising junior lawyers in drafting standard form and bespoke building contracts, development agreements and consultancy appointments. The role will also involve advising on the OJEU process, as most of their clients are in sectors governed by EU procurement rules.
You must have:
Strong technical skills
A clear drafting style
Good knowledge of standard form contracts and professional appointments
Understanding of EU procurement rules
Excellent academics
Good team skills and ability to work alone when required
The role is non-contentious but experience of dispute resolution would be an advantage but is not essential.
