An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Locum Commercial Property and Contracts Lawyer to join a Legal Department for a Local Authority in the North West.
The team are looking for a Lawyer to provide specialist legal support in the areas of property and contract work for the delivery of a new Education Establishment in the North West.
The successful candidate will be required to work within an internal project team to finalise the Partnerships for Schools DfE Model Development Agreement. You will lease, design and build a contract to enable start on site in June 2012 with the clients preferred contractor. The development will also require works to the highway that will be subject to a highway agreement with the County Council. The candidate will need to lead the legal drafting on this in conjunction with the County and project team. Experience of supporting the BSF programme on behalf of a local authority would be an advantage.
